Biography:


Tarek Kettaneh, Senior Lecturer in Entrepreneurship and Family Business teaches courses on Small business management, family businesses, startups, venture capital and real estate, to students of the Olayan School of Business at the American University of Beirut (AUB).


He also lectures on these topics in seminars given across the Gulf area. He has consulted for SMEs mostly on turnaround strategies, and has advised CEOs on several financial transactions.


He serves on the boards of two privately held firms, consults with a handful of others and writes case studies for his students.


He earned an MBA (1975) from Harvard Business School and a MS in Engineering from MIT (1972), after completing his undergraduate engineering degree at AUB (1970).
